Homegrown Leadership

Donald Torres is a lifelong Stanton resident and proudly involved in our community. He is a former Stanton Public Safety Committee member, community volunteer, and a mentor.

As a youth mentor at Western High School, Donald helps students overcome mental health struggles to successfully graduate from school and build productive and healthy lives.

As a former Stanton Public Safety Committee member, Donald worked in partnership with community members to advise Stanton City Council on many public safety issues, including crime prevention, fire and police services, and emergency preparedness for natural disasters like wildfires.

As a City Council member, Donald is committed to listening to the community, improving quality of life for all residents, and solving problems by finding common ground.
